For those of you that have known me for a while, you will undoubtedly know that I am one of the biggest fans of the rock group Chicago. I credit my brother for getting me hooked on this legendary rock group. He used to play "Colour My World" over and over again as I was growing up, and I guess that it just sunk in. I went to my first Chicago concert with my brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and best friend at the time. At that particular time I only knew a few of their songs since Chicago 17 was the hot album at the time. I still remember thinking to myself with each new song they played, " Gee.....I didn't know they did that song." It was after that concert that my journey began. I had to find every possible cassette tape and album that they made. Little did I know that this would begin a life-long quest. Well, I can honestly say that there is probably one Chicago song for every moment in my life since that time. Whether they be "up" moments or "down" ones. I consider them one of the greatest bands of all time. Now, it's up to you to find out for yourselves. |
